About Hamida
Hi there, welcome to my tiny corner of the web! So glad you came by.
As a socially conscious lifelong learner, I've proudly chosen the path of ethically sound writing and marketing. I gain a deep sense of fulfillment from helping progressive groups and businesses get clear on their messages, and get those messages in front of the right audiences. What good is a great idea if few people understand it...or even knows it exists?
My path to conscious copywriting began more than 10 years ago in Philadelphia. Fresh out of college at Temple University, I started my career as an urban music and culture journalist at City Paper, a popular local arts and culture weekly. Back then, I had the pleasure of interviewing world-class musical talent, including The Roots, and various artists who had sprouted from the city's eclectic live music scene.
Shortly after my time at City Paper, I took a full-time role in marketing at Painted Bride Art Center, where I forged new audiences for the center's programs. Over the years, I've held full-time roles as a publicist, marketing manager, and journalist. I have also been a freelance copywriter working collaboratively with teams at nonprofits, small businesses, and government agencies.
Today, my services span a range of communications, such as writing, editing, and content strategy for websites, emails, social media, fundraising appeals, grants, video scripts, and more.
I'd love to help you reach your next goal!
